A snapshot of how I described my background before the current site rewrite.
Background
At university I pursued a degree in international relations and philosophy. After graduating, my passion for writing led me to a year-long collaboration with The Rockefeller Foundation, focused on researching informal economies and seeing first-hand how design thinking and co-creation can generate meaningful change.
I then spent more than four years working in digital marketing, web design strategy, and user experience as a marketing manager. That period sharpened my interest in innovation inside business contexts and eventually led me to pursue a master's degree in Design Management at IED Barcelona.
I have long been curious about design in its broadest form and about how it can improve people's lives and experiences. Through that path I have been fortunate to live and work across four continents and to keep learning from multidisciplinary, cross-cultural teams.
Other Tidbits
I am a music nerd and, during college, worked at WRGP Radio as a DJ and Jazz Director.
In 2011 I started Tacu Tacu Records, a small record label focused on contemporary Peruvian music.
In spare hours I enjoy writing and recording music, finding new music, and learning new things.
Equal parts Peruvian and American, this version of the page reflected a move from Lima to Barcelona.
